How to design your own colour scheme

Creating your own colour scheme is easy and requires no programming skills whatsoever. Just do

mkdir ~/.scentric/colour-schemes

end then from the top-level scentric source directory (where autogen.sh is) do

cp data/default.rc ~/.scentric/colour-schemes/My-New-Scheme.rc

Once you've done that, your theme should appear in the list the next time you bring up the scentric preferences dialog. Now you just need to open your My-New-Scheme.rc file in a text editor and play around with the colours. You can use colour names or the usual RGB colour code notation, e.g. #FFFFFF for white, #000000 for black, and #FF0000 for red etc.
